MACS Matchmaker Blocking Solution, DNA

MACS Matchmaker Blocking Solution, DNA is a blocking reagent for MACS Matchmaker [Oligo|Oligo] and [Oligo|PEG] sensor chips. Used during assay optimization to suppress non-specific binding of sample components to the oligonucleotide-functionalized chip surface. Add to your samples at the recommended working concentration to reduce background signal and improve signal-to-noise ratio.

Supplied as 500 µL aliquots (10 mg/mL stock). The 1 mL option contains 2 vials, the 5 mL option contains 10 vials.

Protocol

1. Heat the stock solution at 95 °C for 5 minutes.
2. Cool at room temperature for 10–15 minutes.
3. Prepare the sample by diluting the stock 1:10 in your analyte.
4. Run your assay.
