MACS Matchmaker Regeneration Solution
MACS Matchmaker Regeneration Solution is a ready-to-use chaotropic buffer for regenerating MACS Matchmaker sensor chips between binding cycles. The solution efficiently disrupts non-covalent protein–protein interactions while preserving the integrity of the oligonucleotide-functionalized chip surface, enabling multiple measurement cycles on the same sensor chip.
Regeneration is essential for multi-cycle kinetic measurements, concentration determinations, and quality control assays. Each regeneration cycle consumes approximately 200 µL of solution. The number of regeneration cycles per experiment varies depending on the assay format:
- One-cycle QC assays: ~3 regenerations
- Standard binding assays (control oligos + target binder): ~6 regenerations (median)
- Multi-cycle concentration series: up to 20 regenerations
Composition: 3 M Guanidinium Chloride, 125 mM NaOH in MilliQ Water
