Oligo Adapter Anti-Biotin

The Oligo Adapter Anti-Biotin is specifically designed for the immobilization of multi-biotinylated proteins and biomolecules to the surface of oligo-based sensor chips. Unlike tetrameric biotin-binding proteins such as NeutrAvidin or streptavidin, the anti-biotin binding domain used in this adapter is monovalent, preventing unwanted cross-linking or aggregation of multi-biotinylated targets.

The oligo adapter captures biotinylated molecules via its anti-biotin binding domain and can be immobilized on the sensor surface via DNA-directed immobilization (DDI).

The Oligo Adapter Anti-Biotin is supplied pre-conjugated to the oligonucleotide sequence of choice (Seq ID 00 – Seq ID 16) to allow multiplexing on sensor chips by choosing distinct sequences for multiple adapters.

The solution is provided as a stock solution sufficient for 10 sensor immobilizations at 200 nM at an injection volume of 130 µl.
