Oligo adapter for usage with the Oligonucleotide Conjugation Kit, ThioLink or for Thiol containing biomolecules. The underlying thiol–maleimide chemistry is a Michael addition in which a cysteine thiol adds across the maleimide double bond to form a thioether-linked succinimide adduct. It’s widely used for fast, site-selective bioconjugation under mild aqueous conditions.
