Oligo Adapter Maleimide (for ThioLink kit)

The Oligo Adapter Maleimide is designed for the conjugation of Thiol containing proteins and biomolecules using the Oligonucleotide Conjugation Kit, ThioLink.

The oligonucleotide is functionalized with a 5-terminal Maleimide group, allowing the site-specific conjugation to accessible thiol (-SH) groups on proteins (e.g. containing a Cysteine amino acid). It is a widely used chemistry for fast, site-selective bioconjugation under mild aqueous conditions.

The Oligo Adaptor Maleimide is supplied pre-conjugated to the oligonucleotide sequence of choice (Seq ID 0 - Seq ID 16) to allow multiplexing on sensor chips by choosing distinct sequences for multiple adaptors.
