Oligo Adapter RGD Peptide
Oligo Adapter RGD Peptide
The Oligo Adapter RGD Peptide enables cell adhesion on oligo-based sensor chips for cell-based focal molography. The RGD (Arg-Gly-Asp) tripeptide motif promotes integrin-mediated cell attachment to the sensor surface, as described by Reichmuth et al. (2020) for label-free, real-time monitoring of molecular interactions in living cells.
In cell-based molography, RGD peptides are immobilized on the sensor chip to facilitate adhesion of living cells. This enables the formation of transmembrane molograms — coherent nanopatterns of membrane proteins within the cell membrane — for studying receptor signaling, protein-protein interactions, and intracellular recruitment events in real time.
The oligo adapter captures the RGD peptide and can be immobilized on the sensor surface via DNA-directed immobilization (DDI). This allows flexible multiplexing with other adapters on multi-plex sensor chips.
The Oligo Adapter RGD Peptide is supplied pre-conjugated to the oligonucleotide sequence of choice (Seq ID 00 – Seq ID 16) to allow multiplexing on sensor chips by choosing distinct sequences for multiple adapters.
The solution is provided as a stock solution sufficient for 10 sensor immobilizations at 200 nM at an injection volume of 130 µl.
